In settings, add 'attwifi' to your connections.

In 3DS browser, open any page.

McDonald's webpage will open asking you to accept terms and conditions.

Navigate to a different page to ensure connection.

Close browser.

Open Animal Crossing or whatever online game you want to play.

AT&T WiFi isn't transmitting at McDonalds for me... like at all. I go inside and sit down and eat a double cheeseburger, and nothing.
Did someone break something here? I find that not at all difficult to believe.

I have 3 Nintendo zones 15 minutes from my house.
They are literally lined up next to each other like this:

McDonalds [road] Ruby Tuesday [road] Starbucks.
You can just casually stroll past each of them in like 3 minutes.

None of them have ever worked for me since they launched the service.
The app glows/flashes and says the service is available, but it consistently fails to connect.
I was hoping that the streetpass relay would somehow still allow me to getr streetpasses... but nope. Not a one.

It sucks. Hopefully, if there is a problem with the entire system, they'll force some maintenance that lets these work.
I'd LOVE 3 streetpasses.

^ You have to do this in order to connect to Nintendo Zone. That's how I've gotten the current and previous Animal Crossing stuff. But I thought everybody always had to manually connect to a Nintendo Zone; that's the only way I've ever gotten it to work.

Ditto. Luckily, I got the latest DLC item thanks to the wifi at a mall in Ann Arbor earlier today (at the cost of getting low amounts of tags)

So, it's not just me then!

I wonder if this has to do with so many people spoofing the hotspot, that Nintendo is going about a restructure...

Changed my sig, because Mega Man in Smash Bros. is all that matters, now. Except Sonic. Not changing this part until he's announced.

This is happening here to me as well, in the WNY area, I went to 3 hotspots over the weekend and nothing, none of them would connect. It worked previous to this. I also couldn't connect to Nintendo Zone at any of these locations, and these are locations that are listed on the Nintendo Zone website.
