Was it wise for Wayforward to Set Limited Quantity to digital copies?

Yeah I understand the concept of early backing and all but it is a bad business decision overall to put a cap on that and then have one that is 3 dollars more for the exact same content. Its the principle of it, not the price and their greed will come and bite them in the end when they could have received many more backers with they lifted it and then included something else for the $15. The damage has been done however as seen by how slow their backer base and funds are growing.

It isn't greed. They are just giving a sale price to the first group of backers. The final retail price will be not be the sale price.

Lol. Acting like this is because they're greedy.

It isn't setting Kickstarter on fire because:

1) It's a niche franchise in itself;
2) It's being overshadowed by Mighty No.9;
3) Some Shantae fans were/are waiting for WayForward to make her brown again (and they just did).
Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Wait, so basically, early adopters pay a little less?

They are not actually making it where there are only so many who can download the game period somehow?

Uhm, it's only limited for the kickstarter. Anybody will be able to buy the game after it's officially out. There will be no limit to the digital release.
