I like all kinds of games except for sports.

I'm thinking about maybe getting Super Mario Bros 2 maybe? How's that replay value?

I already have Monster Hunter.

Also thinking about maybe getting that Paper Mario RPG or Castlevania 3DS

Go for Fire Emblem Awakening and Kid Icarus Uprising, both are very long-lasting and the latter has great online too. I haven't played Paper Mario Sticker Star, but many people here find it bad. Go for Mario & Luigi Dream Team instead (still an rpg, 40+ hours long).

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Animal Crossing seems to last most people well over 100 hours if they get in to it.

Etrian Odyssey IV was a good 100 hours for me, and there's a demo for it on the eshop. It's not as hard as the first three games at all.

Etrian Odyssey 4 is an amazing RPG that combines old-school dungeon crawling with modern polish. If you are even a little fond of RPGs, try the demo.
Also, a remake of the first Etrian Odyssey is coming out(in the US) on October 1st, so if you wind up liking EO4 you will be able to pick that up as well.

Also, you might want to get Tales of the Abyss, but if you have a PS2, it might be cheaper to get the original(PS2) version instead of the 3DS port(unless you need it portable).

If you are open to applications then Colors 3D and Petit Computer will give you endless /infinite replay value ! You can check Samurai Warriors Chronicles (I don't actually know how long is it because I am playing it right now)(read reviews and judge yourself)!
