Did you like Super Mario Bros 2?

sort of.

I liked Super Mario Bros. 2.

Super Mario Bros. USA was, as we should know, based on Doki Doki Panic. The funny thing is, if one of GameFAQs top 10 lists is correct, Doki Doki Panic was based on the very prototype of Super Mario Bros. 2.

Here's the list, it's got a lot of Mario info you might not know.

I have also played the original Super Mario Bros. 2 on the Super Mario Bros. Deluxe cartridge for Gameboy Color. Both are great games.

Yeah, I liked it.

A lot.

It ended up being my most played NES game when I was a kid, definitely over 1 and 3.

It was my favorite or the NES ones (maybe of all the normal Mario type games?)

I'd love it if there were some kind of sequel to it someday. Of course, I've been wanting a sequel to it for years.

I'm glad we got that game for our smb 2 instead of The Lost Levels.

Me too. It's a great game for younger audiences, a lot easier and with more replay value. People who hate on SMB USA wouldn't know a good game if it hit them in the face.

its quite fun the best part you get 4 playable characters so you can play through the entire game 4 times one with each character and have a totally different experience...toad is dramatically different from say Luigi...love the fact you can pick 4 different playstyles...

also in old school platformers there are warps :) for those that can find them you can skip levels...and ya the difficulty is just right not to easy and not to hard (character choices too play in the difficulty in the game as well)

Aw hell yeah! Love it to pieces.

When I was younger it was my favorite Mario simply because there was no time limit and I didn't have to rush. Now I can handle timers though. :P

So uh, are we talking about TLL or Doki Doki Panic? I like Doki, but TLL feels like a cheap ROM hack.

That I did not know. The fact that SMB2USA is based on Doki Doki Panic is older than dirt though, and should virtually never be treated as news (at least not on the internet).
