Do you have an Xbox 360 or PS3?

If not, the 3DS version of SSFIV is worth it. If so, don't bother because the 3DS version is going to be missing nine playable characters by early 2014. It's already missing four playable characters.

Yeah, I have a PS3. I'm just looking for a fighter to play on the go. So maybe I should get SSF4 on my PS3?

I'm leaning towards Dead or Alive for my 3DS.

None, those 3 are all terrible compared to console versions. Save your money.

Yeah, I understand that the console versions are superior. But I'm looking for something to play ON THE GO.

I dunno, I enjoyed Dimensions a lot more than I did 5+'s demo.

From what I hear SFIV is a basic but competent port, though now lacking in things added in subsequent console versions.

DoA was really well done and you can tell they spared no effort to make it the best DoA game possible given the system.

Tekken they managed to properly port the technical aspects of the series, but at a complete lack of game modes and content beyond what was absolutely necessary for a functional game.

Btw, you didn't mention it, but there's also BlazBlue, which is a lackluster port of the PSP version.

I prefer SSF4 but, DOA:D is an exclusive Fighter for 3DS DOA:D cannot be played on any other console. So no its not a port.

Also its fun and more beginner friendly too.

Plus keep your fingers crossed for a Ultra SF4 3D port. SSF43D did exceptionally well so Capcom would have to be REALLY DANG DUMB!!! to pass on 3DS.

Tekken is fun but, barbeone modes and features kept players away from this title.

you won't enjoy street fighter unless you play fighting games seriously.... its not mash friendly

and if you play fighting games seriously you would play it on a console with a fightstick or the arcades and not on the 3ds with touchscreen controls

Is Metroid's gun part of his armor or is he a cyborg like Data from Star wars?
