Demo was available yesterday (Earliest I've checked). Anyway, I already wanted the game from the start. Just wanted to get a taste of how the mood matrix system works. Although I like the idea behind it, can't really say if it should even be taken seriously because of the way it works.

That's really a standard of Phoenix Wright. Any of the "extra" powers of the main characters fall under that, and it's an entirely subjective matter to take them seriously or not.

The demo was available on October 1. The Nintendo Direct they had that day advertised that it was being added to the eShop at that exact moment (as they did with a few other demos in the past).

As for the mood matrix... Well, past games have had you do things like psychically viewing a person's secrets in the form of locks. It's supposed to be pretty out there. Although I thought what happened in the demo is utterly hilarious if taken out of context.

Juniper: The rubble fell towards me, and I thought I was going to die!

Phoenix: Miss Woods, did this make you feel... happy?

Juniper: Oh, right! Because that's when Apollo came to save me!

Phoenix: And did this make you feel... sad?

Everybody in the courtroom was probably wondering why he was trying to steer the conversation towards her being suicidal.

I thought that was a bit out-of-place. Should've been worded differently.
