Is he trying to say then that playing a Vita is not embarrassing in public? Cuz I guarantee you the same ones who think playing the 3DS are embarrassing will think the same of the Vita.

The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

Pffft... Everyone knows that Nintendo is only for kiddies and Sony is for adults

I mean serious, Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade, SMT IV; those are all little kiddie games while, Uncharted, Madden and 3D Dot Game Heroes; those are all adult games.

No, the fact you even had to ask this is barassing though. Who gives a flying f*** about Jack "I'm a piece of s***" Tretton?

Go play your games because theyre fun, like the rest of us. Who cares what people think? Thats part of what being an adult is, not caring about high school-esque bulls***.

Sometimes you got to care what others think.

It's hard to not have a social life, when you don't make yourself presentable to others.

Though balance is important.

In regards to Jack Tretton's comment about 3DS being embarrassing for adults to be seen playing with, Do you think he is right?

Who's Jack Tretton and why should I care?

f you are over 20, would you get embarrassed if other adults see you playing your 3DS?

I'm 28 and I love playing my 3DS XL and PSP 3000. You should be having fun playing a game and not worrying about how nosy other people are.

Would playing PS Vita would make a difference of how people see you?

The Vita doesn't have any games I'd like to play yet (WWE, NBA, GTA etc)

Idk, I'm thinking of buying 3DS (though 3D effects won't work due to eye problems, kinda effy if i can't even experience how certain 3DS are meant to be played)

FYI the 3D effect is completely optional; you don't need to have it on at all if you don't want to. I never have it on.

Then you've been living a terrible, sad, sad life. I'm gonna go enjoy my games, have fun with my friends and family (outside of gaming) while you're worried about people you don't even know judging you for doing things you like to do.

As long as you know when and where to play, you shouldn't feel embarassed what strangers think of you.

I don't take mine out in public too often, but last time I did I went to a bookstore/coffeeshop and sat down and played animal crossing while drinking a coffee. Didn't feel embarrased at all, considering everyone else in there was playing with their iPhones. I even got a streetpass from someone there too!

It is quite interesting though. Seems people judge you based on the device rather than the game. If pokemon X/Y was on the iphone, nobody would care you're playing it on the iphone, but if same exact game was played on a 3ds/vita people start getting self conscious or others would possibly pass judgement on you as "childish".
