Why get VLR for Vita instead of 3DS if own both systems?

I never understood why besides graphics...

The save bug if you dont read up on it.

Owning both handhelds I say go for 3DS. The dual screens work better, stylus is better, and 999 can also be played.

Besides graphics? The Vita versions is only higher resolution.

The save bug can be easily avoided if you just don't save during any puzzle rooms.

Yeah... That's kind of what graphics are.

Could've sworn someone said Vita version also has the save bug. Anyway, eShop version makes it much more bearable since you can backup your save file.

I own both. Got 3DS version during eShop sale and Vita's was free with Playstation Plus. Only thing is... I don't own a Vita. :/

umm... you should get the Vita version if you have both.

Better graphic (yes, even if it's just "hi-res")
no save bug iirc
... actually that's it.

3DS does do the notes better though, like how you can see the game screen on one screen and the note screen in another, which makes certain puzzle much easier to solve. In Vita that's impossible.
