Pokemon is good, definitely not great though. It has a lot of graphical and technical issues, and doesn't really take advantage of the 3D graphics. Gameplay is almost a carbon copy of all other games in the series. Even the pacing is exactly the same. It played it way too safe.

Zelda is a masterpiece.

Pokemon will likely last you longer, as others have said, but if you're not looking to play online and spend a lot of time training Pokemon after the game, it may only last you marginally longer than Zelda depending on how good you are at Zelda games. It took me about 30 hours to beat Zelda twice (once regular, once on Hero Mode) with most of the stuff (first playthrough took about 17 hours), and I think I was at about 40 hours in Pokemon by the time I finished a lot of the post-game content (and there's not much, especially compared to other games).

It's really a matter of personal preference for you.
