What was your very first handheld system and video game?

Very first video game for your very first handheld that is.
Mine was a silver Game Boy Advance bundled with Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World.
I traded in the GBA for a black SP ages ago, but I still have the game; granted, it's beat up and all, but it now holds sentimental value as well as a perfect 100% completed File 1.
What was your very first handheld and video game?

My first hand-held was a silver gameboy pocket. got final fantasy adventure and legends for it.

Served me well on road trips and camp outs back when I was a kid, theres something to be said for not needing to charge things every 4-6 hours.

FFA was a great game, but I had to get help on that dang "palm tree and 8" puzzle.

I bought a Game Boy in the late 90's with Donkey Kong Land 2. It was a store display model though because it was the last one and it had the game Lucky Luke inside of it. Anyhow, the screen looked like it came off and was attached again with some glue, so I went back with it to the store the next day and got a new one. Of course, I kept the game that was inside of the store display model.

I did play handheld consoles a bit before that though. Not sure if a Tetris or Super Mario Land was the first game I played. Also played a Sega Game Gear and some Sonic games a bit. And when I was a bit older (early teens), my cousin had a Game Boy pocket with some games. I played them a decent amount and also borrowed it at times.

Game Boy with Tetris.

Not counting the crappy Tiger Electronics things, of course.
