It's because gamers like you are the reason we have giant arrows pointing everywhere.

It's because of gamers like you that no one takes gamers seriously. Stop trying to put people down to look cool. It doesn't work.

If you already own the VC version it would be easier to just replay that one. If you enjoy it enough THEN go out and drop around $30 - 40 on the 3ds one. As far as not being able to find where to go next, luckily today we have thousands of guides and videos about how to do / find things in games so if you get lost or stuck, you're just a quick search from the right path.

I already had the N64 version since the day it came out, plus both the versions put out on Gamecube, and the only change for the VC version is they took out rumble. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but it makes the stone of agony utterly useless and makes finding hidden grottos incredibly hard.

The 3DS version is the best version of the game around. It looks much nicer (not just a quick upscaling, a full graphical redo), and also has a lot of interface improvements. And the freakin text boxes are a lot faster. Still no rumble, but they did fix the problems with the stone by replacing it with the shard of agony, which gives an audiovisual clue when you're near something that would have made the rumble go off on n64/gc.

After experiencing the 3DS one, I don't think I could go back to the older version other than for a short bout of nostalgia.

Thanks for the help, guys. I guess I'll pick up the 3DS version, then.

Next time, go ask the Zelda subreddit on Reddit. The community there is much kinder and more willing to help newcomers and not judgmental like a large amount of users here.

This is a gamefaqs board, not a haven for niceness. (Too much?)
