How censored will Bravely Default 2 be?

I think the Japanese version of Bravely Default 2 will be premade to US taste.

The game will just be one giant black bar.

Kotaku will praise Nints/S-E for going the extra mile to protect the rights of underage pixels.

GameFAQs will lash out at anyone who suggests maybe -- just maybe -- they went a tad overboard, promptly reporting them to the FBI as obvious sexual predators in need of immediate and prolonged imprisonment.

Cries of boycotting will be heard around the interwebs.

The game will go on to sell even better than the first.

You forgot the anguished cries of the ponies

It will sells worse likely, since the hype of the first one will have died down and people will see the fault that lie within. Then as time passes people will forget the good parts of the game and only focus on the faults that it had.

Such is the way of gaming. A game gets hyped out the Wazoo, then it releases and for a few weeks is the best thing since sliced bread. Then some of that hype wears off and people start to become critical of parts of the game, then those critical points get overblown, and before long those faults are all that are remembered. Then about five years later, people will look back at the game again and only remember the good parts through "nostalgia goggles" and praise it as one of the best games ever.

This seems to happen more with RPGs than anything, especially SE RPGs.

I have discovered the perfect game. It is called Starbound, and shall be played forever.

If they're releasing that ninja beat 'em up game with no changes to it I don't see why they'd do anything to any other game with even less stuff. Also, that's a horrible looking character so I kinda do hope they get rid of it...

If someone is stupid enough to buy it there will always be someone smart enough to sell it.

Americans don't care if a game is censored. They will even hype them up ignoring the fact that they are getting an altered game.

This. Which kind of annoys me when I have characters as rangers, dark knights or male valkyries during cut scenes.
