Not the new 250GB one, the original 20GB one.

Yay! Don't you need some sort of connector? Cos the new 360 has a special Kinect port..

It comes with a power adapter if you use an old 360 like mine. nothing extra to buy.

The only thing is you HAVE to use the USB slot in the back, for some reason.

no you dont have to use the back port, mine in connected directly in the front. works fine. In the instruction manual it shows you how to hook it up in the back just if you want to, and have a wireless adapter hooked up. I have my wireless in the back and the kinect in front, no problems whatsoever

Huh. wonder why they made a big deal about it being plugged in the back then? i could have swore the manual said specifically to use that one.

Because there is less of a chance of pulling the unit off of whatever you have it on if the cord is in the back (which is usually behind your TV), making it a safer place to plug the Kinect in.

That's why it comes with the extension cable for the Wi-Fi adapter, if you use it.

Just leave the Kinect plugged in - no reason to constantly move it all around.
