How many players can play Dance Central on 1 Xbox? Can you play more then 2 players. Also is there an online versus mode?

I read somewhere that most 3rd party games won't have online vs, but most others will. I heard rumor that Dance Central won't have online multiplayer. Also, the Kinect only supports a maximum of two players at this point i believe.

Kinect only support two players per system is what I meant to say. I think it's possible to have 2v2 over Live. I think Kinect Sports may end up allowing 2v2 over Live.

I thought I heard that Kinect CAN support 4 people on the same TV, just that there will be a space issue with 4 people side-by-side and no games have been developed using 4 players yet.

I could be wrong.

I think I read it can track 4 players at once, but 6 people at a time, think it was on a kinect dev diary.

The point of that is drop-in drop-out kind of games, not sure.

Unfortunately from what I have read today this game only supports one player at a time, so I may re-consider this one and just wait until a different dancing game with local multiplayer comes out.

It's one player at a time
There are 1vs1 dance battles, in which there is mid-song change over, and the players can set separate difficulty levels for the battle

I don't know about online at all, other than friend score / leader board integration

DanceMasters / DanceEvolution (in JP/EU) has 2 player simultaneous, but might not be the type of dancing you are looking for

thats a shame that this is one player because if i was going to look foolish i want someone to be doing it to.

My understanding is it can only track so many bones at a time so this game focuses on one person but a more simple game can have more players.

There is no online versus or anything but it will post your scores of your friends on the side of the screen after you play your song to tell you if you beat them or lost to them. Like need for speeds new autolog type thing,
