Car Tokens: Credits will be readily available in Forza 4, but for players who don't want to wait and save up for the elite Forza 4 cars, we're introducing car tokens. While you can always buy cars with the credits you earn in the game, car tokens in Forza Motorsport 4 are a brand-new way to access the cars that matter most to you. Players will be able to purchase car tokens via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, either individually (80 MS Points, $1), in six-token packs (400 MS Points, $5) or in 13-token packs (800 MS Points, $10). The in-game credit value of a car will determine its token price-the more expensive a car is in the game, the more car tokens it will cost. The most expensive cars in Forza 4 will cost three tokens; the majority of cars will cost either one or two car tokens.
Personally I don't see a problem with it. There was at least 1 car in FM3 (Shelby Daytona Coupe) that I would have glady spent real money to have in my garage. In fact depending on how fast the career progression is, I may buy the 13 pack in the first few days just to get my hands on some of my favorites. What do you guys think?
I rather spend money on DLC instead of stuff that came on the disc. My career winnings in FM3 was alil over 30 mil and have 200 mil in my account. My favorites are JDM cars and they dont cost very much. I have no interest in collecting American or European cars. Plus money will be easier to make and parts are free with level 5 affinity. I only buy free paints.
I personally think all this DLC nonsense is becoming a bit of a piss take at times but I always have the option of not buying it. I really don't see myself spending money on something that can be bought with in game credits but it doesn't bother me if someone chooses to do so.
lowkeyg posted... Midnight_DUBMAN posted... I'll gladly spend the odd amounts of MS Points I have left after other purchases, such as buying 800 points for something that costs 560 points, then having the odd 140 left!
800-560=140 now? I need to back to school!
As far as the tokens are concerned... whatever people want to spend their money on is their business. I doubt I'll use that "feature." Sorry I pressed the wrong key ¬_¬
