The series has so been milked....

the quality of the games is still good (albeit not as good as BF1942 and BF2 imo), but there are too many new games in the series that the community is being streched out to no limits.

LULZ now there is a series that has been milked, COD and COD2 were excellent games then it just goes downhill, BF games have always been far superior MP wise, this is just an addon like SF for BF2

Maybe because they're very different types of shooters? Compare BF2 to MW, yeah, really similar. :|

How about if I say CoD doesn't even touch Goldeneye, or Perfect Dark.

No no no. I'm saying that Battlefield hasn't been "milked" like the COD series has yet. Man, they release a game every 10-12 months.

Perfect Dark and Goldeneye can be compared to nothing. Those two games are the heart and soul of all FPSs.

I think that this series has avoided that because the milking idea becuase they are trying new ideas. 1942 was just awesome when it came out. BF2 improved what 1942 did right. Later Bad company came out and that put a new spin on the series by adding distruction. Then Bad company 2 improved what Bad company did right. This seems to be the the pattern DICE follows. On top of that, they try new settings such as the future and downloadable versions like 1943. I think DICE does an excellent job.

Some say the cup is half empty, some say the cup is half full. I say the cup is twice as big as it needs to be.

Exactly /

Maybe milked a bit, but compared to other series it's barely. If they had wanted to milk it they would of completely reskined BC:2, added in a few more maps, then charged $60 for it. Then for the map packs you pay $15 instead of getting them 'free' ( yes they were retweeked maps but you get the point ).

Wait... does that sound like someone else? Activision perhaps? EA might be trying to get their moneys worth, but at least they don't just straight up rob you.
