Anyone tried remaking GoldenEye Wii's Outpost map?

Outpost is a nice map (if you ignore the spawnlocking).

A while back, I tried to remake Archives as best as I could. This time, here's my attempt to remake Outpost on TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. I did tweak quite a few things here and there, but I'm fairly happy with this as a sniping map. I used up all the memory space available. Other than the fact that I am rubbish at using the Gamecube controller for shooters, any thoughts?

So this is what you've been up to.

Only watched the first vid so far, but I liked the addition of the mines :p

I have been playing online, but it's very briefly. I have even tried recording gameplay, but it's usually me versus lag of some sort or bad spammers, so it's neither entertaining to play or watch.

Everyone knows that mines are an essential part of GoldenEye. I think I originally wanted those mines below the catwalk but I also wanted an area in which you could spawn safely.

@Slater: It's the mapmaker mode from a Gamecube game. Some of the people who developed it were on the original GoldenEye 64 team. The TimeSplitters series is currently nowhere to be seen.

Ry did these about a year ago. Each is crafted with painstaking detail to accurately portray the levels.

That's hilarious. I loved those games for Gamecube. Like how there's a guy named Khallos. That must be fun wasting him over and over after what his descendant does to us on GE.

I remember spawn killing your friends was super fun/cheap. In your first Archives video you basically spawn on top of a guy in a hallway, and with the blue spawn cloud it's impossible to miss people spawning.

The developers of the TimeSplitters series recently said they'll make an HD collection (then maybe TS4?) if enough people sign a petition, so you know, grab 230,000 friends and get signing!:

I will give Jungle a try at some point (not even sure I could do it). I might have to cut out some of the tunnels and check out what the map looks like as a splitscreen offline map. I do like the Outpost map there, though.

@elP:
I believe there's an option to turn the spawn sound off. Maybe I could drop players into the maps to mask the spawns a little, but it may consume too much memory space. Also, the sight of players literally dropping into maps might be too weird. The bots do not melee enough. I don't think it's possible to lose a 1v1 melee against them.

Wow, I did not know about the possibility of a HD collection. I would be happy enough with them just fixing the third one. Game still freezes on me occasionally. I am stuck with the Wii for a while, but thanks for pointing this out to those interested.

For sure, I don't much care which console it would come out for, more the fact they'd be making the series again. It's a testament to its quality that you can still have fun playing it today.
