The strangest thing just happened

I play wii mote

My sensor bar just dropped behind my TV, and down the back of the supporting furniture. Oddly, I could still play. It was like I was able to move but slightly slower than usual. How does this work when the wiiote is supposed to be a camera picking up infrared signals from the sensor bar?

Hmm. Well, the infrared spectrum is longer wavelength than visible light so it should in theory pass through solid matter further than light would. Not very far though... how thick is the material in your furniture?

I guess the IR radiation could also be reflecting off the floor and making it to the sensor bar behind the furniture if there is an air gap at the bottom.

didn't you install an epic protein bar inside your Wii when you replaced a drive or a laser? someone posted a pic, thought it was you. you know what? even if that wasn't you, i'm sure that power-packed treat is what saved you when your sensor bar fell.

You don't need a sensor bar to play GE with a Wii remote. Use 2 candles
