I saw a couple of jikkyou plays on youtube and judging by what I saw I'd say that Although the English version is well done I prefer the Japanese version's dialogue a bit more. However, speaking objectively. I think they are about equal in terms of quality with a slight edge to the Japanese version. The voice actors for Japanese games are almost always perfect imo Haven't heard any mismatched voices at all since I've been watch Jikkyou's, They just seem to put more effort if only slightly into their voice work. Some jokes in the Japanese version don't translate well into English and vice versa. It's all a matter of which version's dialogue appeals to you better. For example the Chicken being economical line in the japanese version is something along the lines of "That probably doesn't taste good!" (referring to roasted angel wings).

Japanese Dark Pit: [long, ominous introduction]

NA Dark Pit: "Hey."

I wish they followed suit and had him speak while the camera panned to his face, instead of merely for the brief moment his mouth was seen.

I like the English dialogue better. But the sequence with Pyrrhon at the end of chapter 17 is a lot cooler in Japanese.

I love the dubbed conversations in this game. Every character was delivered well :D Especially Hades and Pyrron

Who is Japanese Hades? He sounds familiar.
And I'm quite surprised Viridi didn't have a chipmunk voice. She does sound like an old lady, though. >_>

Diologue-wise, they're about equal.

However, I give the edge to the english verison based on the voices. No offense but in japanese, Pit sounds like a girl and Viridi's voice is extremely annoying.

Based on pits voice alone, English version wins. Pit just sounds....cuter .-. I mean you expected that kind of thing from Pit, he's a bit naive. Japanese Pit seems a little more, intelligent, I guess...At least from what I've seen. Its not really in terms of dialogue I see it, but the tone.
