Should I sell all my inventory to buy these Brawler Claws?

#1Pyro76Posted 5/4/2012 1:45:26 PM
I'm like 100,000 short to buy this, but it's really tempting.

Brawler Claws
Range - 1
Melee - 4

Overall Defense +5
Paralysis +2
Melee Combo +2
Melee Dash Attack +3
Effect Duration +3
Full Health Boost +4

They're fairly good. How many weapons do you have? 100,000 is a lot to make up.

I got like 70+ weapons to sell.

But I'm definitely keeping like 6-7 of them.

And even then I might come up short.

Yeowch, it would hurt a lot to sell all your weapons, as you kind of need them in order to fuse... but those ARE good Brawler Claws...

You could try doing the Practice Range for a bit just to soften the blow of selling so many weapons. You won't have to sell quite as many if you spam Practice Range. Do you have a weapon with Heart Bonus modifier and the Heart Booster power?

Oh, and you can scan AR cards online for 100 hearts each.

No way, selling is garbage and those aren't even that great.

Yyyyeah, you're not going to be able to make 100,000 selling 70 weapons unless each one of them is around 300 value, and even then it'd be pretty close.

If you really want them, play multiplayer until you get enough hearts.

It won't cycle the shops, though it will take quite awhile...

Try to make sense of the above post.
Go on, I'll wait... maybe.

Nope, playing multiplayer cycles the shop.

Are you certain? I thought...oh well, there is one other method that won't, but relies on streetpass to get weapon gems...

Oh, and sorry about that, I really did think it wouldn't cycle them...

Yep, 100%. Besides the streetpass method, the only other way to earn hearts without it cycling is by killing enemies in the training mode, and they give such a paltry amount that it's barely even worth mentioning. On top of that they stop giving hearts after a certain amount of kills to prevent you from just binding your L button down overnight.
