Maximum speed limit confirmed!

#1MartinAW4Posted 1/26/2013 8:47:14 AM
The maximum speed in the game is 37.5 m/s.

Here are the results of my tests:
- Brawler Claws with Speed +4 and Trade-Off (TO) run 150m in 4.30s
- Brawler Claws with Speed +4 and Lightweight (LW) run 150m in 4s
- Brawler Claws with Speed +4, TO and LW run 150m in 4s.

- Cancer Claws with LW run 150m in 6s
- Cancer Claws with LW and TO run 150m in 4s

- Pudgy Palm with Speed +4 and LW runs 150m in 6.2s
- Pudgy Palm with LW and TO runs 150m in 5s.

From these results we see that Speed +4, LW and TO stack. However once Brawler Claws reach 37.5 m/s (150m in 4s) with Speed +4 and LW, TO doesn`t raise speed anymore so 37.5 m/s is the highest speed in the game.

What was the purpose of the Cancer and Pudgy speeds? Brawlers have the highest running speed in the game, so the highest speed in the game would have to be through them.

Yes, to test whether LW and TO stack since with Brawler Claws it seemed they didn`t.
I haven`t tested with FHB+6 since I don`t have it on any of my Brawler Claws, but I don`t see a reason why it should work if TO didn`t.

Try double item + paladin boots, along with trade-off and lightweight. Granted, I'm not sure whether or not those three powers would all fit on the power board.

If by paladin boots you mean Speed Boots then not only would Double Item have no effect on them, their effect wouldn`t stack with Lightweight either. Lightweight also provides a higher speed boost than Speed Boots.

I thought that speed boots stacked with lightweight? I'm pretty sure they do, maybe you should check again.

They stack to reach the max speed, but thats it. I can notice it on my walking ninja palm in matches. But it won't add too much.

No, it has been tested and Lightweight doesn`t stack with Speed Boots even before the speed limit is reached. I`ve tested it with Speed -4 Guardian Orbitars which had the same speed with LW and with both LW and Speed Boots.
On the other hand Happy Trigger and Quick Charge do stack.
