Viridi Palm power setup?

My Viridi Palm has 6R, SR+3, SH+3, DCF+4, and MDA -2. The power setup I'm using is Paralyze Attack Lv3, Darkness Lv1, Lightweight Lv4, and Transparency Lv4. Am I doing it right or is there a better combination I should be using? :O

I know a status condition and Lightweight / Tirelessness are both necessary for this type of weapon, but Transparency and Darkness are what I'm mostly looking to see replacement ideas for.

You should replace DCF with DCS and run homing boost. Then you will have beans.

I have this:

Viridi Palm
(R: 5.5, M: 0, V: 271)
Paralysis +1
Shot range +3
Dash cont. fire +4

It's better to build Paralysis+1 into a Viridi Palm. If you keep landing a DCS on an enemy, you can keep them constantly in paralysis. It saves space on the power board for other things.

However, you can drop the status effect from your power board, you'll rarely be able to put it to good use since DCF Viridi Palms kill quickly.

I regularly run this Power Set to ninja myself around enemies before love gunning them down.

Mega Laser L1 (pretty good power in general)
Lightweight L2
Transparency L3
Effect Recovery L1 (This will save your life and prevent alot of grief)
Item Vacuum L2 (grabs the nearest item and is useful 9/10 times if you don't see any items around you... mostly for health drops, I also use it to gamble for daybreak parts)

However you can run this in LvD...

Lightyweight L4
Trade Off L4
Effect Recovery L2
Item Vacuum L2

Lightweight can be swapped into Tirelessness, however you'll lose any potential for chasing/item gathering. Transparency can be swapped into Super Armour with little-to-no penalties, you're basically swapping stealth for staying power (if you like direct confrontation rather than surprise attacks). Modified from the first power set:

Mega Laser L1
Super Armour L3
Lightweight L2
Effect Recovery L2
Item Vacuum L2

The great thing about DCF Viridi Palms is that any set you use with them you can use on a Twinbellows Cannon to similar effect. And the great thing is that Twinbellows does even crazier DCF damage without a +4 mod (though you'll probably want some sort of homing on it).

I prefer DCF on this weapon, sorry. :P

I used to use Trade-off, and I'll try out Item Vacuum. I never thought about using that! :]

I agree with The_Pup about dropping Paralyze Attack. Your opponents will rarely survive long enough for it to activate.

Transparency is not so good on ranged weapons because you reveal your position by shooting. If you`re using it defensively to escape, try replacing it with Warp. Warp allows you to escape even from trapping attacks like Doom Cannon`s charge shots or melee combos.

Reflect Barrier is also very useful for some protection to shoot from behind.

Effect Recovery should be on all weapons that don`t run Bumblebee.

DCF weapons tend to have problems with stamina so Lightweight is a good solution. However you could also replace it with Tirelessness and Super Armor for knockback protection and better defenses.

The power setup I use for DCF weapons is:
Warp lv.3, Reflect Barrier lv.4, Super Armor lv.2, Tirelessness lv.1, Effect Recovery lv.1

Ah. The DCS loops very well, so that's why I said you would have beans if you had DCS+4 on it. I'm not really sure about the DCF but I'm pretty sure it'll loop as well. So cool.

Beans.

Yeah the DCF does loop pretty well, which is why I'd taken to using Homing Boost with it.
