What blade is the somewhat staff most similar to?

I'm considering using a somewhat staff, and will probably be using the information for the most similar blade to determine what mods to use for it.

Probably the Bullet Blade I would imagine... Except with crappier Cont. Fire but having homing in it's shots.
Or a SCS Aurum Blade.

Why a blade? >.> It's a rapid firing SCS staff with fast shots with pretty good homing. Choose the mods that way, not by which blade it is closer to. It's closer to other weapons than it is to most blades imo.

Well, I couldn't find any useful posts about what to apply to a somewhat staff, and since the description says it is more of a blade than a staff, I figured it made sense :\

Oh I never go by the descriptions. I'll just test them myself and go by what seems goid. Usually I'll try 100v, or something with minimal stars and mod that strengthen attack so I can get a good comparison on damage. I'll usually throw in QC just to see what different charge times are like, and then try HB if it's applicable.

Pain to edit on my phone so I'll make another post. It's also pretty good with DCS, but the this with SCS is there is less of a cooldown period between shots. Also, you're not leaving yourself open after a DCS. Depending how good you are at fusing you could try fusing one with both DCS and SCS, but SCS is nice if you want to couple it with something like lightweight, and maybe bumblebee depending on if you ban that power or not.

Here's my current build plan for a somewhat staff, given that information and what I already know.
6R/0M
Definite mods: (251 val w/ just these)
Standing charge shot +4
Walking Speed + 4
Possible added mods: (308 val w/ this set included)
Dash Charge Shot + 4
Shot Range + 3
IPAB-4

Current decided Powers:
Lightweight, Bumblebee
Considering:
Reflect Barrier/Warp

to me it seems most like the aurum blade's scs variation considering the scs speed somewhat staffs have, and maxy bullet blade is actually very good, with strong and fast dcf and dcs, it just lacks the homing some of the other blades, but it's damage isn't effected very much by distance.

Never said it was a bad weapon, though I do find it to be more consistent than the Artillery Claws. Which I find a bit under appreciated in Together mode.
