But capcom made a smart choice, and canceled development on the Psp system.
I'm very glad they did.

I'm not. I happen to like my PSP. And I'm not a fan of having to buy a new system for a game that I want. Granted, I'll end up buying a 3DS just for that RE since... Y'know... I'm a fan of all things RE.... Except the movies.... --- Hey Dante! You wanna buy yourself? *holds up Dante figurine* Me: No thanks! I play with myself enough as it is! --- Ohayocon 2010, cosplaying Dante.

Hmm there's no proof. Once you have official sources that claim this come back.

I would think that as an RE fan you would want the game for a more powerful system wouldn't you (3DS power > PSP power (and im not talking about battery life))

As a RE fan you'd like 2 games over 1. There's still no proof that Resident Evil portable is even cancelled as Capcom hasn't said anything about it yet.

I heard they were releasing a game on each, unlikely though really.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Capcom saying anything, they waited 2-3 years before they said "oh btw DMC Portable has been canceled". From when it was first stated to be in development.
My last hope that RE PSP is still in development will come at TGS.

I wouldn't compare DMC with the RE franchise. Especially after the announcement Sony made last year for RE portable.

Yeah they made the announcement last year but also haven't said a word about it since. So in one year we've heard nothing about the RE PSP.
I'm not holding my breath that it's coming out, especially since they didn't say a word about it at this e3. --- Current Gen Systems: Wii, Xbox360, PS3, DS, PSP
