BBS. It was so awesome that I actually did level 1 critical runs after I finished it.

BBS had a bigger and better variety of commands as well as a better leveling system for them.

Re:coded has aerial combat that rivals KH2. Chainable commands, and minimal "cooldown" before each actions allowed you to act right after one action, or having to touch the ground to act again after one aerial attack. Keyblades are the most significant variantion from the other games. Each one matters, equals in strenght (aside uber ones), all of them are useful, you can carefuly use a specific one for challenges, preferences and they have so much different abilities that you actually would consider them.

BbS is ground only, as if a gravity spell was happening on the whole game, commands don't flow together, lack of aerial combat hurst the experience, D-links are underwhelming, critical mode sucks hard, keyblades are so irrelevant you could just forget to change it after one world or two. Command melding is unrefined.


BbS gameplay surely is good for a game, but very underwhelming for a KH game.

BBS had a better selection of commands and didn't have the Stat Matrix.

I did not enjoy the game forcing me to go into command styles against MF. The thunder one wasn't too great either.

Blind fusions, doesn't allows previous testing of the new command and specific recipes? It wasn't bad, but Re:coded did better.

DA HELL?!

Forced command styles that aren't always a good choice. They are cool, but the way to achieve them can be bad, even more that you must use lame commands to manage to reach the ones that are useful or that you like.
