Delicious Fruits

How does delicous fruits work? Does it depend on where you plant them like hybrid flowers? Also, to get fruits not native to your town, must you get them from another village?

No, John, unfortunately we don't have a code for "There's a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter's head." Although we obviously should.

I've heard that a native delicious fruit sells for 600 bells. As for how to get them, I think there's just a random chance that any of your native fruit trees has a chance to grow one, and you can then plant it to grow a delicious fruit tree that only grows delicious fruits.

I've heard a theory that every town starts with one delicious fruit hanging from a tree. Either that or you just start with so many trees in your town that the odds of finding one are high.

Does anybody know what happens if you get a delicious version of a non-native fruit? Does it sell for more than a normal delicious fruit?

I'll check it as soon as the stores open. I have a non-native delicious peach.

My single first-day-appearing native Delicious Peach sells for 600 bells at R. Parkers and 480 bells at Nook's Cranny.
