Do you or will you have custom paths in your town?

Today I just started spreading out custom made patterns all over my town to create a pathway that connect all the buildings. So far the paths function good, but my town now looks a bit crappy. It's going to take some hard work to tie everything together with landscaping and project works.

What about you?

I'm nowhere near good enough to design my own pattern, but I found one online I really like, and used them to create a basic path system that links all the major parts of town. I didn't bother linking up individual houses, though I may do this in the future.

Might wait till one of my villagers leave and is replaced by someone else.

I'm using the custom paths designed by Ian from ThreePanelSoul, and they look pretty great, for the most part. I did have to ravage about five axes worth of trees, though. But the good part is that now I have a good guideline for where to lay my benches and stuff.

Yep. Made the path design myself because I didn't want to wait 9 days to unlock the QR code machine on my second character.

I'm satisfied with how my town is because of pathing :D

Pretty much my situation here. Been trying to degrade the grass in a way that would make proper paths. It's worked, kinda, so far. Just gotta run across the pathways more often.

Dang, I hadn't even thought of this.

I'm guessing yes, but does putting down pathways interfere with fossils and the daily ore rock spawning? I mean, I guess as long as I don't paper the entire village, it isn't a huge concern anyways, but just curious.

I should go try to find some good QR codes for this; what a neat idea.

Is this finally a conundrum that CAN'T be solved by helicopter theft?

No, it doesn't mess with anything. They just won't spawn under patterns, the same way they won't spawn under a flower. They'll simply find an empty space to spawn in.
