So when is a perfect town considered NOT perfect anymore?

By that I mean, say I have 10+ items on the ground, and I save and quit with those items still on the ground, but I come back to play the game later on and put those said 10+ items away/sell them/whatever, will my town still remain "perfect" for that day? Or have I tainted it's perfection by saving and quitting with 10+ items on the floor?

Or does it not matter unless those items are still there the next day?

If I have confused you, let me know! hahaha I don't know how to phrase this question.

I think they calculate your perfect town everyday at 6am.
Because I left a rotten turnip in my perfect town and gave back later that day to get some ants and then i picked it up and talked to isabelle and she said that my town is still perfect that was 4 days ago. And today, when i checked with her again, she told me that i maintained a perfect day for 15 days...
hope that helps

If when the day ends (6am) the town is not perfect, you lose your streak.

Best advice is to ask Isabelle when you're done for the day. If it's perfect then, it should be perfect at 6 am.
