Hey, everyone. I know, I know, it's been a long while since the last daily rate, and I feel bad for falling behind. My life has been hectic, although that's just an understatement. I'm gonna try to get back into the groove of things again and actually make these 'daily' again.
So, it appears that Day #44's Super Leaf received an overall average of 5.3. Yeah, that was kind of expected, haha.
Next up: The princess cruise line from DD that returned as a Retro track in MK7, GCN Daisy Cruiser!
This track has somehow lost its luster. It was really fun when I first started playing DD, and over time it got more and more boring for some reason; this hasn't happened with any other DD track to me, so it's really strange. When it appeared as a Retro course, I was indifferent. Naturally it's not as good as it was from the original game, but it's nice to remember. I give it an 8 mainly for nostalgic reasons. --- "The PrematureEjaculation blues...any advice on beating this problem?" "Shouldn't it be "The PrematureEjaculation whites..."?~luvbutts
7.5/10 Whilst it's not as good as it was on DD, it's still a pretty decent track, and I enjoy it. --- ...wait, what? MK7- Lakitu / B Dasher / Standard / Swoop. There's some random stuff in my profile, too! :D
This is my favourite track in the entire series bar none, and I feel it gets a lot of undeserved hate for no reason at all. It's admittedly fairly simple track; no real methods or tricks needed- but something draws me to this track instead of the rest. Been waiting for it to appear as a retro since Wii, and I bison yes'd when I saw it as a listed track.
My only complaint is that they took the rolling item boxes out of it, but that's minor, really. --- Fan of Bullet Hell. Cave and Touhou mostly. <3 Patchouli Knowledge. Playing: DeathSmiles, DoDonPachi Resurrection, Mario Kart 7 (MnK*Toejam,1977-0150-7507)
Such an unique track which doesn't have much hazards and reminds me fondly of DD. The first place beat with DC's music is so catchy, that it's pretty much my motivator to become 1st in that stage. Now it's one of my favourites in MK-series. --- The Official Starfy Of Super Smash Bros. 4 Board 3DS Friend Code: 2793-0906-0731
Great course. Something different, unique, and it worked well. I'm not huge on the re-do for this game, particularly the pool or the underwater section towards the end. But it's still one of the better retro courses of the game. --- 3DS FC: 3437-3651-7432. PM if you add me. "Crystal Stars? They sound like great world-conquering tools! I want 'em!" -Bowser, PM:TTYD
