Lap 2 was amazing for me, my previous best split was 37.400 exactly, but somehow I got 37.047! Not really sure what happened, it's too bad laps 1 and 3 really weren't any good, the only reason this time was decent was due to lap 2. Best splits are now 38.117+37.047+37.270 = 1:52.434, almost 0.9 better than my PR...although if I got a 38.1 first lap and followed it with a great lap 2, I'd hit the piranha, so I guess I'd have to start getting really good lap 1 times or go wide around the pipe on lap 2.

Nice improvements everyone. Just a notice that all entries for the next edition of "GameFAQs' Best Time Trialers" are due by: May 28th at 11:59p.m. EST
Also, I am considering using a different formula-type-thing for calculating scores. Instead of distributing points 10 through 1 for the top 10 times on each track, I was considering doing points 15 through 1 for the top 15 times on each track so that more people are included considering the large growth of the leaderboard. It will be more work for me, but I think it would work out better. Any thoughts? Please let me know what you think of this.
