On Worldwide, it's either 150cc or Mirror. (It's random every time, but 150cc is usually more common.) No, there is no other option to change what cc you will play. Dunno, can't say I ever really notice the difference between 150CC and 100CC THAT much. 50CC is definitely noticeably slow though.
Like others say, initially online play will be just 100CC, as you climb the VR ladder you'll start taking part in 150CC, and then more commonly Mirrored races. --- Clean Cut high score: 65 cuts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6_Ty50Kais
I've heard if you have sub-1000 VR (disconnectors) that you tend to get 50cc matches as well, but there's nothing confirming this. --- Fan of Bullet Hell. Cave and Touhou mostly. <3 Patchouli Knowledge. Playing: DeathSmiles, DoDonPachi Resurrection, Mario Kart 7 (MnK*Toejam,1977-0150-7507)
Hmm, it is pretty hard to distinguish. Take my words with a grain of salt, but I think that single player mirror mode is 150CC, but online mirror mode is 100CC. I dunno, it just feels a little slower in an online mirror track. Maybe I should stop losing sleep over it. =P --- Laaaaaag!
Constantlagger posted... Jin 13 posted... Mirror is 150cc and always has been.
Are you certain of that? You are noticeably slower in mirror mode compared to 150cc.
Never noticed a difference. Every game that features an icon for Mirror, though, represents it with the same 3 mushrooms as 150cc, so it only makes sense.
That and, if anything, the AI is even more vicious on mirror than even 150cc. Or maybe that's just my luck. --- "*checks jins karma* 1111 wow thats odd" mistr moon AIM: BabyMousePichu ~ Playing: Breath of Fire III
