DLC Possibilities

#1iamerror2Posted 5/3/2012 7:59:22 AM

Sup. With Nintendo using patches to enhance games you think they would introduce Dlc content such as new courses, extra characters, game modes etc. How much would you pay for such Dlc?

Why would I want to pay for DLC? I've brought the game already.

Because companies know that there are people who will line up in lines to buy skins/costumes that do absolutely nothing for the characters themselves; it's how Capcom's still profitting off of people who buy the same game within the same year! :P

The most Important part of games for me is Music, Atmosphere, and a Non-Weeaboo Story.

So if Nintendo offered 5 new characters or tracks in a pack for $2.00 or so, you wouldn't buy it?

An extra Retro Cup with courses that i doubt will make it into MK8 would be nice:

SNES Donut Plains 2
N64 Wario Stadium
GBA Cheese Land
GCN Sherbert Land

This would fix the poor treatment the SNES, GBA and GCN Retro's got in MK7. SNES having only two retro's, GBA having only *ONE* retro and GCN only having two retro's in the final game while DS and Wii got FOUR a piece was beyond stupid...

I thought you of all people would be smart enough not to post this.
DLC =/= what you payed for when you bought this game.

Anyway, I personally would love to see some new characters.
=)
Toadette, Waluigi, King Boo, and Dry Bones.

Some retro tracks and a vs mode would be great too.

Price-wise I'd pay $5 for the four characters, and another $5 for the courses. VS mode should just be a patch.

And I thought you of all people wouldn't be the sort to open up an argument with something as petty as "YOU'RE STUPID".

DLC =/= what you payed for when you bought this game.

I like to think I payed for a complete game back in December, rather than half a game that will be sold to me later on.

That was a compliment. You're pretty much the only person here who's down enough to earth.
=p
That doesn't mean what you're saying isn't stubborn, tough.
Once again, this is typical anti-DLC rhetoric.

It is complete. they advertised a game with 32 tracks and 16 characters.
You got that.
Anything else released is literally EXTRA content. That's why it's DLC.

Releasing DLC doesn't suddenly make the game any less complete than it was back in December.

Needless to say, DLC isn't "half the game" either.
