You can only singularly hurt and heal. No double hurting or double healing!
You can only hurt/heal once every 12 hours!

From the looks of it, TC specifically wants to make sure that healing and hurting occurs at the same rate. What you're suggesting not only wouldn't guarantee that, it would also enable those who specifically want to kill off certain characters.
