D-Down Pound - Never used this except in Chapter 2 to face those Clefts. D-Down Jump - Never used this. Deep Focus - This one is quite useful, especially in no action command challenge runs... Pity Flower - Doesn't give FP frequently enough. D-Down Pound - 0 D-Down Jump - 2 Deep Focus - 2 Pity Flower - 2 D-Down Pound - Good, but I prefer D-Down Jump since stockpiling Power Pluses makes Jump superior to Hammer and either badge makes enemy defense irrelevant. D-Down Jump - Better than D-Down Pound for aforementioned reasons. Deep Focus - A nice badge, but I don't rely on Star Power that much. Pity Flower - In my experience it almost never gives FP when you take damage and I try to superguard all enemy attacks anyway so this is pretty much useless.
D-Down Pound - I admit, I used Piercing Blow in TTYD to get rid of Clefts and any high defense enemies, and I'd probably do the same with PM. But with limited BP to 30 BP max, this is a waste. D-Down Jump - Same as above. Deep Focus - Star Power is everything when it comes to the final Bowser battle! Misstar's Smooch is the only Star Power costing 3 SP, and Deep Focus helps alot (especially when you equip one or two of them!). So this gets my vote! Pity Flower - Getting a chance of 1 FP if you get hit? I'd rather simplify it by just using a Honey Syrup or Maple Syrup or Jammin' Jelly or whatever. Deep Focus is almost unecessary in TTYD and I don't find myself using start power a lot in PM. I prefer D-Down Pound, but since people seem to voting for the jump instead, I might as well go with that. --- Must have: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Paper Mario, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Kid Icarus: Uprising.
