F*** Nintendo...

Am I the only one who liked TTYD and PM64 mainly for the battle system and customization elements?

The game will still be a lot of fun bro.

I would recommend rent it first, then decide. Or wait for a used copy.

Just saw a video and it doesn't look that bad. Customization is still what the game thrives on. Just the level and real-time action crap that sucks imo.

I'm likely still getting it, because even if I don't like it as much as I want to, resale value will be high considering it's a Mario game.

Just.....URGH....it's frustrating when I know how deep this game could have been BECAUSE THEY DID IT BEFORE!!

Or maybe it really is, but that's not the impression I'm getting.

dumbed down? most of the reviewers i read enjoyed the jump in difficulty from other nintendo games and the customization and decision on stickers seems like a huge draw.

Yeah, most of the reviews I'm read said there was a huge lack of hand holding basically leaving you up to your own devices (for better or worse) to deal with challenges.

As others have said, the Sticker mechanic and lack of hand holding seems to make the game more challenging.

Its all about having limited abilities and managing them effectively. That is way more difficult than managing a set array of abilities in every battle.
