Reviews and actually playing it...

I'm in the second world now, and already everything that horrible reviewer said just doesn't add up for me. I've been really enjoying it. Organizing my stickers is quite easy, I haven't gotten lost yet, regular battles at least give you coins so using up stickers can always be replaced later by buying some if you need to (including thing stickers), and overall it's a pretty fun game. Honestly, I think he was just having a bad day.

I dunno what to say I agree that nothing the reviewers said have come to be true, I think I got stuck once so far and that's just cause I felt the door behind the pillar be to obvious to be true.

I'm actually really really really really shocked that there were reviewers complaining about the puzzle to lighten up the warehouse. I mean the game sorta thrusts in your face you need to get the chest and on the way you pass the lightbulb in plain sight very clearly a 3D object. Then you enter the dark room and so logically you use a lightbulb to brighten the place up.

It's funny. There's an 'organize sticker' button at the top. If you click it, all of your stickers are automatically organized in the best possible way.

The puzzles can be tough but fair. They actually feel like puzzles from old games where your hand wasn't held every second. Exploration is key, and Nintendo expects you to explore every nook and cranny. The game is jam-packed with personality, the battle system works well, and there's tons of interesting secrets and characters.

Heck, even the boss fights are way more epic than I thought. F*ck reviewers. Some people may not like this game, some people will love it. Pick what's best for you, and make your own decision. To those who don't enjoy this game, your preferences make up what you like and don't like, and we all have different tastes. No judgement whatsoever. This game may not be for everyone, but I'm certainly loving it.

the battle system works well

No, it really doesn't

It's really shallow (Almost no strategy is needed)
and poorly designed(a lot of the time the battles are totally pointless)

tons of interesting characters.

No there aren't. There is barely any dialogue and all the characters are just generic nameless Mario creatures

Heck, even the boss fights are way more epic

No they aren't. A lot of the time, you aren't even supposed to actually fight them. They are more like "puzzles" where you get the right sticker and you win. but not really puzzles because you can't solve them until after you know about the fight and can go back to get the sticker

I'm enjoying the game, but you'd have to be a fanboy to not see how flawed this game is

wat a closed minded thing to say. This game is not flawed. If its not ur type of game. cool, but to call it flawed cause YOU dont like certain things is just stupid.

The fact that battle serve no purpose except to use up your consumable attacks and reward you with coins to buy more consumable attacks with is a flaw. I can't help but feel like Zero in Mega Man X4 when I get into battles in this game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game, but to say the game isn't flawed... that's just ignorant. There's very very very few games I see no flaws in and this is definitely not one of them. Fun game, has it's share of flaws, definitely the least fun and engaging of the Paper Mario games (Super Paper Mario included), but still fun.

I lol'd way harder than I should have.

This game IS flawed. But then again, every game is flawed. There will always be something in any game that can be made better. Its purely the nature of the beast. What I can't stand is the fact that TTYD has become the measuring stick for all Paper Mario games. Is it a fantastic game? You bet your bottom dollar it is. But there are plenty of problems with that game too! Its nowhere near perfect. And this is coming from a guy who plays it at least once a year and has a 9h45m speedrun of it when I'm fully practiced. I'm sick of this game being stuck in the shadow of TTYD when its CLEARLY trying to be its own game. Do I want a proper sequel to TTYD? Yeah, I do. But I also don't mind Sticker Star. The humor is amazing, and the game is full of life. I wish there was more dialogue, but beggars can't be choosers.
