Hi,

As the topic title says, do you think the sound track of this paper mario is recorded live? Or is it made at pc as usual? It's something i just want to know out of curiosity, because i really like the music :)

I can tell the music from previous paper marios was computer-made, but this one really sounds authentic.

The music sounds too real for me to be MIDI, I believe a jazz band recorded most of the music for it.

Now that I think of it... yeah. The other PM music was great, but this stuff has a swingin' live feel to it that I really like.

I don't know, but I like it. All the jazz reminds me of Mario 3D Land.

Are you sure about that?

I second the Topic Creator. Quite a bit of the jazz instruments sound very real, a synthesized sound wouldn't give off quite the same timbre, or just the feeling that SOMEONE is playing the instrument.

Take it from a music major, or even someone who knows a thing or two about instruments that aren't electric.
