Bad. It had potential, but it never got to be more than "use X sticker to win all battles", not to mention how pointless battles became when there wasn't enough worthwhile rewards when 90% of buyable stickers are crap and the only incentive to battle is coins, two mildly worthwhile enemy drop stickers (like you would actually use any enemy stickers besides Boomerang or Snowball besides testing them), and grinding for Super Flags...

7/10. I do like the Sticker Battle System, but why I gave it a 7, I have no idea why. Maybe because it isn't as fun as the classic battle system...?

5/10. Very few enemies can stand up to Shiny Stickers, and fewer to Flashy or higher stickers. In addition, the implementation of Things in the battle system was just horrendous.

I want to give it an average or slightly higher because sometimes it even felt good or great, but too often it doesn't and objectively it's poorly designed.

I felt the system had no customization and was too unbalanced to do anything. Action commands might as well not have been included, they were as easy as TTYD with two Simplifiers. Things were terribly implemented. Bosses were also broken, you get yelled at if you don't run from them the first time you fight and then come back with a certain thing.

Great concept with much more attacking options than ever before. Requires the Action Command to preserve as much stickers as possible during battle. Linear attacking adds strategy by making the order of stickers used much more important. A maximum of 3 stickers per turn opens up a plethora of combos.

Being forced to use a sticker every turn is the only issue.

You don't have to use a sticker every turn. Attempt to run away and don't press A. 9 out of 10 times, you will fail and the turn will be wasted.

Also, if you get a battle spinner jackpot but only require the use of 1 or 2 stickers, you can press X to skip adding any more than you need.

5/10. Nice idea but not enough strategy behind it.

Now if it was more like the chip system in Battle Network, then it'd be a 8/10.
