The chomp battles of the 5th worrld.

Is it possible to use your raccoon tail sticker (or any other defensive sticker) instead of getting hit, and still get the accomplished goals? Basically I am asking if there's any way not to take damage during the chomp fights.

No. It's not an attack, it's just them escaping. I tried, you can't even defend with a Leaf sticker.

It's kind of cheap how the game pretty much goes "Hey I'm just gonna take 10 hp from you, okay have a nice day."

They give you 30 HP before the first one, and the shop in 5-6 sells Shiny Mushrooms, so it's mostly just being prepared for it after the first time.

Yeah it's pretty easy to have good HP, but I always cringe at the thought of forced HP loss. It just seems like a concept that's easy to avoid implementing.

Which is worse in your eyes: forced HP loss, or a fake Game Over?

The former. At least you don't actually lose anything with the latter.

You can if you actually attempt to fight the battle thinking you can win. I know I've done it from time to time (like in Skies of Arcadia w/ Enrique on Crescent Isle).

You asked my opinion and I gave it to you.

*shrug*

Me, I hate fake Game Overs. I can stand taking a forced hit now and then, but I hate when I'm lead on to believe I might be able to beat my foe and then 10 minutes later, I'm suddenly on my ass, regardless if I was supposed to die or not.
