Yes, as long as there are new interesting characters, the story is as detailed as Super Paper Mario 1, and more dynamic shapes are used in level design so the 3D means a little more. --- Nintendo 3DS FC: 2664-2654-8959 Nothin' much, just cookin'.
I'm indifferent, as long as the next paper Mario game has a story, new characters, originality, real rpg elements not like sticker star, a hint system that is not annoying and actually gives you hints, a not broken battle system, and non-cryptic puzzles i really don't care what type of gameplay it has
I think they'd have less issues to fix in SPM in regards to gameplay than this game, at least...
So, I change my vote for Yes. I doubt they can go wrong by making an upgrade of SPM. --- Voted as ''Sage'' of The Denpa Men board (Completionist Medal: http://i48.tinypic.com/20gmued.jpg) 3DS FC: 1590-4884-9269 | Don't bother sending me Swapnotes.
If SPM2 is going to have tons more familiar gameplay elements from the first two titles (plus removing the increment of Attack Power from leveling up and the Catch Cards' attack power double effect), as well as a balanced amount of old and new Mario characters and settings, I'll be good with that. --- I have trouble communicating with people :(
