Petey Piranha doesn't eat someone...his debut game?

I haven't played all the spinoffs, and he admittedly doesn't eat anyone in Mario Kart, and I haven't played every Mario Party minigame so he might be vegan in one of those...but, well, here's a list of the appearances I know of:

Super Mario Sunshine: Is not shown eating anyone, nor is he shown eating the Shine Sprite. None of his attacks involve trying to eat Mario. The only thing he ever yacks up is that icky goop.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga: His Beanish expy swallows the shrunken Prince Peasley.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time: He chows down on Peach.
Super Princess Peach: He gulps a Toad stuck in a bubble.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star: He dines on Kersti.

And it's not as if the games had the same developers: the Mario & Luigi series was developed by Alphadream, Super Princess Peach was developed by the enigmatic Tose co., and Sticker Star was developed by Intelligent Systems. How's this whole ultra-carnivorous-Petey-Pirahna thing get rolling so quickly?

Lotta vore fans at Nintendo, I guess. Can't let Sega have all the fun.

Does he eat anyone in Brawl? I played it, but I intentionally avoided committing anything from the Subspace Emissary to memory due to it being the boringest fanfiction I've ever seen.

Oh, drat. He doesn't, does he.

So he only eats someone in 4/7 of his games, then.

What about NSMB? When he dies, he releases a key but so do all bosses. He may or may not have eaten it.

Petey wasn't around long enough in Smash Bros. Brawl to do much of anything.

Like Copshow said, he only attacked with cages he held and jump around. That's all he had, nothing to chopping down with his mouth.
