So I'm in Ganon's castle and didn't know I needed that random switch in the shadow room. I go back to it after sitting in the fire room wondering what the hell else I need to do. I get the gauntlets and head back towards out of the room. I get sucked in by whatever that thing is near a ledge and lose my fire tunic. Get spit back out into death. Cannot get my tunic back? -_-

Those things are called Like Likes. They will your gear, once they do you should be able to kill it then it will drop your item on the ground. If not Tunics can be bought. Go to the shop in Zora's Fountain, they will have Red & Blue Tunics. A bit pricey tho. I think around 300 Rupees.

If you want easy rupees, go kill Skull Kid in the Lost Woods. Enter/exit with same strategy for a minute or less to own a stuffed wallet; guaranteed or your rupees back.

Even if you fall in a pit, you should just be able to longshot over to it, kill it and get your stuff back.

If you died, wouldn't you have gone back to the title screen and your stuff would be back when you start up again? >_>

Not quite.

Goron Tunic: shop in Goron City (200 Rupees)
Zora Tunic: shop in Zora's Domain (300 Rupees)

If you were actually running around with that little health in Ganon's Castle, you should have warped to Sacred Forest Meadow and gotten some fairies at the fountain there, then gone back.

If you do get a game over though, the game will first ask you if you want to save, then if you want to continue. If you say no to both you go back to the title screen with all your stuff.
