Which zelda game is for me??

Felt in love with the series since playing Minish Cap on GBA,and i enjoy the other 2 zeldas on DS to no ends.
So i bought this game recently and so far got to the forest temple, but im still not feeling why this game is considered the best by most Zelda fans. The dialogue is missing the humorous tone and Link felt like a stranger to me....the biggest turn-offs of this game is getting lost/stuck in dungeons in this game for lack of clues.

Maybe i should stick with 2D Chibi Zelda in top down view??

It's because this game is older and as such feels like it holds your hand a little less, though there is enough to help you through.

Even though it's 3D, you make enjoy Wind Waker. It's part of the DS series you seem to enjoy lots, with the cartooney "chibi" look as you put it. It's my favourite Zelda and I think you should give it a look.

Haha, that would be nice. Once they hopefully start putting GameCube games on the Wii U's e-shop, Wind Waker would be a nice addition to have on it.

I belive you have to played OoT before the newer games like I did to get the feeling that its one of the gretest games ever, I love this game to death since its the first zelda game I owned on my own, only played link to the past that my brother owned a few times before I played OoT for the first time back in 98

The thing to remember with this game, and other games like this, is there's always only ONE thing that you have to do in order to continue with the quest. Yes, there are little side quests you can do but they aren't important. If you're in a temple and you're stuck, just look at the map at the doors you haven't been in yet. The next room will always be in the last one you were in, but remember that that CAN be a room you've already been in before, just from a different perspective.

As for the funny dialogue, I see your point. There are a few humorous points in this game but not so much as there are in MM or WW or TP (not so much this one) or any of the others.

Twilight Princess is my favorite. I love Midna! Best adventure partner ever!
