many games has a storymode and arcade mode that had 2 separate stories....blazblu for one example.. they could make an arcade style mode with character endings and a campaign story mode with more in deph gameplay and plotline.
Crisis averted. Doubt they would do this tho. "People get excited that jaffe is listening to fans" but i dont call it listening more like hearing. If nothing is to be done about it then there's nothing to get excited about. For what i can tell you it's standard PR talk.
That's what he was discussing with his team. The plan is to add a "Classic" mode with individual characters, but only if they have enough development time, and only if Sony gives them the green light to do it.
Then allow us to play as these drivers in all free-for-all modes with faction thugs for team modes. That would be perfect. At the very least I hope they give each vehicle their own driver for all free-for-all modes (with maybe the exception of Talon, the helicopter, which probably should be exclusive to team play) and include maybe a few paragraphs of backstory like what we got with Severed Sam in Twisted Metal: Lost.

honestly, id be fine with just the individual characters and a simple backstory and text ending for all of them. I liked how the cars and drivers meshed well together, especially in Black where the car was connected with their story somehow, like mr grimm's vietnam motorcycle, or sweet tooth and his truck, or Raven driving her dead friend's hurst. like it would kind of make sense when the people go a bit crazy and take a vehicle that is special to them
