Stanemac12Posted 3/27/2012 3:03:21 AM | Hey all, I've been really enjoying this game so far, but I'm really not very good at it lol. I have my guys right now around level 8, and I finally just now beat the ice tower level, so I'm still really early in the campaign. Anyways, I find that the most current story missions are very tough, I can almost never beat them right away, and often have to do quite a bit of grinding and blacksmithing to have a fair shot at them. The problem I find though is that I don't gain any exp from the easiest of missions, since I am far over the recommended level. So I want to get to a point where I have a level that's on par with my team, but not to the point where I will get destroyed trying to clear it, if that makes any sense. Basically I just want a safe level that is low risk that I can repeat 10 or 20 times or so to get some really nice equipment and exp to help my team get prepared for the story missions ahead. |

Stagger is easily accessible early in the game.. Some other helpful status effects you might want are sleep, freeze, and poison. Using status effects will actually help you cut down your training in half, if you already have enough amounts to deal each of them. this is why the classes Wondabarappa and Jamsch are highly recommended for support, since both are inclined to status-dealing.. and even good on normal units.
If you focus on using status effects wisely, you could even beat the whole story in 10-ish hours.. breezing through the missions. You'd probably have problems on a few dungeons, though.. But hey, im sure you got that damage too :)
anyway to answer your question. For early unique/super unique farming, Depths of Rage is a good farming spot, as soon as your pons are able to take on the monsters inside it, of course. you can even get a purple jeweled chest if you're reaaally lucky. (purple chests seem to be really rare in here, and other dungeons, compared to DoJ)
Otherwise, free mission dungeons have good loot too, since they'd usually have golden and jeweled chests at the end. Fairly good exp to gain as well.
Bonedeth missions usually give less exp than the other free missions above them (E.g. Hunt the Cyclops: Part Deux, Hibernating Dragon, Thunder Lion of Svanki Pass, etc) IF you are around the level of that free mission. But if you already are past the recommended for that free mission, go for bonedeths instead. --- i am Molivious...surviving yamagami summons since 2011 |
