The REAL Journey is to the peak of the summit (glitch world)

I'm convinced that the real journey of the game is not reaching the glowing canal, but the very top of the mountain itself. Has anyone figured out a way to get up there using glitch world/tricks etc.?

My best guess is that if you had a partner at the very last end where your flying up the trail of golden symbols you could chirp-fly your way to the highest section of the game map.

On the final level (the summit) before you land on the final platow (and before you enter the white light) you and a partner can fly to the left of the mountain and around to the back of the mountain. From here you can scale to very top of mountain above the passage of light. There's not much of a view but it's fun to hop around over the peak and be at the highest point in game.

My partner also showed me on the Moutain level how to skip the long walk and fly straight up to bridge. The trick is to get your scarf to full power by chirping under doorway at beginning of level (the snow can't affect scarf charging from here). Then walk out door, make immediate left and try to fly up the rock to left of doorway. Follow the snow on the rock (easier to climb) up and to left until you reach bridge.

We also explored glitches in the Tunnels and Descent level. In the Descent level at very end (before last jump into cave) you can fly far off in distance with partner. You can also scale your way up the Descant once outside the invisible walls. In the tunnels level there is a weird rotating platform in first room with dragon. It's in top left back corner and there is a way into the wall were you can explore and find the sleeping dragon that flies by the window after this room.

Other fun stuff to do is climbing the tower without glyphs. Cross bridge without rebuilding and flying through levels fast with out touching ground.

During the final flight, after you freeze to death, if you fly and land on top of the first massive archway and then fly off of that from the left, then you can fly over the mountains and avoid the little snow surfing section where it slopes down slightly and the first waterfalls too by simply flying above them. Doing this also glitches the music so that when you are walking into the light at the end the main joyous part of that track, where you fly up towards the mountain, plays when you actually walk into the light.

You kind of lost me after you said fly to the left after you reach the final platform.

No you fly left off of the first massive archway amongst the waterfalls. They are tall struts with a platform conecting both at the top. Land on top of the first one you are confronted with and then as you face the summit of the mountain in the distance, fly left of the archway and you can then fly high over the lower mountains and the snow surf section where it slopes down slightly on the ground.

I think my issue is that so many artifacts of the final, final world are repeated (arches, waterfalls, stone steps) that it's hard to distinguish what you're referring to without so sort of a map. That's probably too much to ask I guess... Well. At least you sound like you know what your talking about so I appreciate your advice nonetheless.

Hmm, okay, so in the sliding part of the level you are in a chasm with walls on either side. Before you get to that sliding area, if you fly left you can find some structures (and a few cloth clouds) that you can use to fly yourself to the top of the chasm. From there you can fly over the chasm and climb up without having to go through the sliding portion of the level.
