Will you turn off the guide star?

No. Modern conveniences like these in games are a good thing. Same for fast travel. I will utilize options that are there for my convenience rather than having a misplaced nostalgia for the inconveniences of "old school" games.

I actually keep guides on in games so that I don't accidentally go to my objective lol I for some reason have a very good sense of direction in games and it's like a blessing and a curse xD

Yes, off for me.

I hate games that hand hold you all the time.

Exploration and discovery are the key, although fools who buy guides don't realise this. lol

Turning off the guide star means spending a little more time finding objective.
But it's preference.

Turning it off means spending a lot more time finding the objectives lol. To each their own though ;)

I'll keep it on. Knowing where I have to go is not going to stop me from exploring every inch of the map anyways.

That's actually a good point.

Yep.

Now I'll know where to go last after I'm done exploring.

I'm keeping it on, but not so I know where to go. I just want to know where to avoid until I explore the rest of the area, because I hate when a game progresses and blocks access to treasures or other missable things.
