How many have encountered freezes?

#1danielwerner86Posted 1/24/2013 2:58:28 AM
Hi,

I'm getting a bit worried over here, when hearing of all people who have encountered freezes when playing this game.

So... Have you? And if yes, how many freezes and how far into the game (in hours, no spoilers please)? Fat, slim or superslim PS3? PSN or disc install? Did you try not to save until after the wand-quest?

I need to know how widespread this is.

You're worried because of all 6 of the people claiming freezes?

20 hours in, 0 freezes.

Edit: 320gb Slim, and i did save during wand quest to see if it'll corrupt my save, didn't happen.

Zero here. Played for about 12 hours. Slim PS3. Blu-ray version.

Should also mention PS3 was on all 12 of those hours that it did not freeze. If it was gonna freeze on me it would have.

From what I've heard there are more than 6 people with this problem, but I may be mistaken since they are the only ones writing in the freeze-threads.

Hence: this thread!

7, 8, 48, 480... the point still stands. Out of the many tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of games that have been bought and played since the 22nd, there is an insignificant percentage of those consumers claiming freezes. Far too low at this point to begin suspecting an issue with the actual game.

And at that, likely it is just people with older slims just now playing a disc intensive game for the first time in a while discovering their drive is going. That is how it happened with me with Lollipop Chainsaw an its absurdly long loading times and excessive disc reading.
