NOt sure if The Legend of Zelda is considered an rpg or not, but I played it many times on the ancient 8-bit Famicom! Otherwise for me it would be Dragon Warrior which is my first console rpg and The Bard's Tale which is my first computer rpg!

I was a late bloomer (born 86) and mostly played mario games for a long time, so my first probably was Final Fantasy 7. It will forever hold a special place in my heart, though.
