This is the first time I actually considered getting a Strategy guide for a game in years (last time I got one was for Digimon World way back when it first came on for the PS1). To my suprise EB games is selling it for 46.99..only $13 shy of the cost of the game itself. I understand it comes with a DLC for a familiar but c'mon. Is this normal for strategy guides or is this one just super pricey?

I haven't seen said strategy guide, but I'm assuming it's absolutely MASSIVE just like this game. I'd say the price is relatively reasonable considering it probably has an obscene amount of information.

That's overpriced. It's 39.99 regularly, I got it for 32.99.

Although maybe it's not overpriced due to the demand for it, since it's apparently 49.99 now on amazon <_<

edit: nvm, the 49.99 price is from personal sellers and not Amazon itself, so that's just people knowing it's hard to find and boosting the price. nevertheless, most strategy guides like this that come in hardcover are priced in the 30-40 dollar range.

yea its pricey, and its very factual.
almost the polar opposite of the wizard's companion book.
I got the guide because I figured it would have some nice full page artwork, but alas there is but a small section in the back with an art gallery and all of it very small...
gamestop cuts the price if you buy it with the game, but not by much..
too got it for $32.00

Not only is it overpriced by most stores it is basicly impossible to get if you live in Sweden. Had 2 stores cancel my order because of them selling it out before release and now finally the last store pushed my delivery back 2 weeks because they where out of stock. So basicly the guide is pricy because of demand and i could have gladly payed $50 to get it delivered to my house tomorrow.
